Homemade Ghee



Homemade ghee is very easy to prepare.

Here is my recipe.

Ingredients:

Butter - 1/2 kg

Method Of Preparation:




- Buy butter in a grocery shop.









- Keep kadai in the gas stove and put  butter slowly.







- It starts to melt.








- Use laddle to melt.








 - It will melt within a minute.







- The next step is bubbles. It starts with a hissing sound. Slowly the bubbles become reduce. At this stage switch off the gas.







- Now you can switch off the gas.







- After it becomes cool transfer it to a Air tight container.








 - Now  Homemade Ghee is ready.

Neer More

Summer Special

More is an South Indian Recipe. It's very good for health. Easy to digest. Clean our stomache.

Let's see the preparation.



Ingredients:

More - 1 Cup
Green Chilli - 1
Hing - 1tbsp
Grated Ginger - Few
Curry Leaves - Few
Coriander Leaves - Few
Salt - To Taste

Method Of Preparation:

- Beat the curd well and add some water, so that it will become more.

- Add salt, hing and beat it well.

- Add the coriander leaves, curry leaves and chilli together.

- Beat it well.




- Now Neer More is good to drink.






Thandang Kirai Poriyal

Spinach is always good for health.  It has minerals, proteins and other nutrients.

sure you should take twice a week. It's a good combination for vathakuzhambu and puli kuzhambu.

Let's move into the preparation.


Ingredients:

Spinach - 1 Bunch
Small onion - 4 to 5
Red Chillies - 3
Mustard Seeds - 1 tbsp
Hing - 1 tbsp
Urad - 1 tbsp
Shredded Coconut - Few
Salt - To Taste

Method Of Preparation:

- Chop spinach and wash well.

- Cut the onions and shred the coconut.

- Keep kadai in the pan pour the oil and put the mustard seeds, urad, hing, chilli and onion.

- Fry well until it becomes golden brownish color.

- Now put the washed spinach and add salt. Fry well.

- Spread little bit of water. Don't add more water, cos it itself leave some water.

- Boil well. After it get fully boiled add the coconut and fry for a minute.

- Thandang kirai poriyal is ready.

Mango Pickle

Summer Special

Mango Pickle is one of my favorite. It goes very well with curd rice. It's very simple and easy to prepare.

Let's move into the preparation.


Ingredients:

Mango - 2
Mustard Seeds - 1tbsp
Chilli Powder - 1Spoon
Hing - 1tbsp
Salt - To Taste
Gingelly Oil - 1 Laddle

Method Of Preparation:

- Cut mangoes into small pieces.

- Keep the chopped mangoes into a container and add some salt.


- Shake this and leave it for one day.

- Next day it leaves some water, now you can add chilli powder and shake it well.


- Keep kadai in the gas stove. Pour some oil and put mustard seeds and hing together.


- After it becomes splutter put mangoes and stir it for 1minute.

- Dont stir it for a long time.


- Let it become cool for a while. It should become complete coolness. After that you can tranfer from kadai to a container.


- Now Mango Pickle is ready.

Vegetable Cutlet

Cutlet goes very well with tomato jam.  We can have this as evening snack. Easy to prepare.

Here is my recipe.

Ingredients:

Beans - 3
Carrot - 1
Green Peas - Few
Potato - 1/2 (Optional)
Beetroot - 1/2 (Optional)
Big Onion - 1/2 (Optional)
Turmeric - Apinch (Optional)
Salt - To Taste
Vegit Instant Mix Pack 30Gram - 1pkt
Coriander Leaves - Few

Method Of Preparation:

STEP 1:

- Chop the veggies and wash well. Boil the veggies with salt, (if you want to add turmeric powder add it now)and keep it in a bowl.

- Take a bowl and put the cutlet mix pack.



- Add 150ml (3/4th cup) water to the cutlet mix. Donot add more water. Add as per the instruction, so that cutlet will come in a proper way.


- Now you can add the boiled veggies and mix it well.


- Leave it for 5minutes.

- Step 1 is over now.


STEP 2:

- Take a bowl and put the batter mix pack. Add 1/4th of water to the mix,stir well and keep aside.


STEP 3:

- Now make small cutlet balls from cutlet mix and flatten them or place it in the moulds, so that you can get the perfect shape. Moulds should be given in that pack.


- Dip the shaped cutlet in liquid batter mix.

STEP 4:

- Roll the dipped cutlets in bread crumb provided with the pack.

- Bread Crumb powder should be given in this pack.

STEP 5:

-  Now fry the dipped cutlets in oil and place it in a plate.


- Serve hot with tomato jam.

Homemade Tomato Jam

Tomato jam is an excellent combination for chapathi. It's easy to make. My mom used to prepare this jam for chapathi. I loved the taste of my mom's preparation.

One day i was curious. I was thinking how i would make tomato jam like my mom. I have started to prepare.It came out for me in an excellent way.

Sure you can store it in ur refrigerator atleast for a week.

Usually in our home plenty of tomatoes are there. Sure you can try on that day.

It's a good side dish for chapathi, bread, samosa and cutlet. Sure it will take around 40minutes. You should have patience to prepare these types of recipes.

Here is my preparation of Homemade Tomato Jam.

Ingredients:

Tomato -7
Sugar - 2 cup

Method Of Preparation:




- Boil the tomatoes.



- Let it become cool for a while.




-  Now peel the skin.



- After it becomes cool grind the tomatoes well and keep it a bowl.



- Keep  kadai in the gas stove. Put grinded tomatoes in pan. Allow this to boil but not to overflow.



- It will be thicker and thicker.




- When it started to thick consistency add sugar and stir well. It tries to stick on the pan. Don't allow to stick it in the pan.




- Now Tomato jam is ready for Chapathi.

Rose Milk

Rose Milk is a famous south Indian recipe. This rose milk is for my hubby. Sure it will be a surprise for him. He loves rose milk very much.

Ingredients:


Milk - 1 1/2 Cup

Rosemilk Essence - A drop

Sugar - 3 tbsp

Honey (Optional)

Method Of Preparation:


- Boil milk well and leave to cool and then pour milk to the juicer mixer, add sugar and rose essence.

- Grind it for 2 minutes.

- Take it in a glass.

- Keep it in refrigerator for 1 hour.

- You can add one scoop of  ice cream to this to give a extra taste. Prefer Strawberry ice cream.

- It will give extra taste to drink.

- Rose Milk is ready.

Potato Fry

It goes very well with vathakuzhambu and rasam.

I love potato fry with the above dishes.

Ingredients:


Potato - 5
Big Onion - 1
Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - A pinch

For Sesoning:

Oil - 3  tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1tbsp
Urad dal - 1 tbsp
Curry Leaves - 10
Salt - To Taste
Hing - 1 tbsp

Method Of Preparation:


- Boil the potatoes. Take it in a plate. Cut it into small Cubes.

- Keep kadai in the gas stove. Pour the oil and put the mustard seeds, urad, hing, curry leaves and onion.

- Fry well until it becomes golden brownish color.

- Put chilli powder and fry for a minute.

-Now put the chopped potatoes and fry well for 5mintues.

- Potato fry is ready now.
